BuildWatch is a product of Emroniq LLC (“EMRONIQ,” “we,” “us”). This policy explains how we handle information when you use BuildWatch.

What we collect

Your mobile phone number, which is how you sign in and receive alerts. The addresses you choose to watch and the radius for each. Your name and email address if you add them. Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe; BuildWatch never sees your full card number. Basic technical logs such as request times and errors, kept to run and secure the service.

How we use it

To match land-use items on public agendas to the places you watch, send you text or email alerts and reminders you asked for, send the weekly report if you subscribed, process payments, answer support requests, and prevent abuse.

Text messages

We send text messages only to people who agreed to receive them. Message frequency varies with how much is filed near your places. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone except the service providers that deliver our messages.

Who we share data with

Only the providers that run BuildWatch: Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage), Twilio (text messages and sign-in codes), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (reading public agenda documents, which contain no user data), and the US Census Bureau and OpenStreetMap geocoding services (to convert addresses you enter into map coordinates). We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. When you delete your account from the dashboard, we delete your phone number, watched addresses and alert history from our database. Stripe keeps billing records as required for tax and accounting.

Your choices

You can change or remove watched addresses, turn off texts or emails, and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Email us to request a copy of your data.

Public agenda information

Alerts summarize public records published by local governments, which can include names of applicants and property owners as printed by the county.

Children

BuildWatch is not intended for anyone under 18.
